Nursing bras are notorious for being ugly things a breast feeding mother has to wear, day in day out. Horrible design, clips, unattractive, chunky and old fashioned on the whole. Admittedly ladies need that extra support when full of milk, and big boobed mama’s more so, but there should be more on offer that doesn’t cost a fortune. It is true that it makes you feel more confident, comfortable and happy if you are wearing nice underwear.
This Storq nursing bra is very simple, no fuss, even fairly boring but it isn’t chunky and unattractive. It doesn’t have clips, just pull to the side access, made in super soft fabric and extra flexible when your cup size changes or boobs are super full.
Maybe not ideal for those that need extra support for the bigger chest, but if you don’t we highly recommend these.
Two of my favourite underwear brands are Lonely and Baserange. Baserange have a great range of basics, and comfort is the key. They do a whole range of womenswear, the quality is great, it washes well and easy to throw on in the mornings – an essential for me of a morning as a mum.
Lonely underwear is just as comfortable, but with a bit of an edge and lace always makes things feel a bit pretty and special.
Don’t have mother guilt, and treat yourself sometime. A little something just for you.
The 3rd bean is nearing a year old, so I’m going to quit my breast feeding stint. Bitter sweet, but I’m looking forward to a treat of a new bra or two. Which of course means I have to do some online shop browsing and bookmarking, perfect in time for Xmas.
Love this Polish brand no sweet. The fabrics are 100% organic cotton, cut comfy and wearable and the prints and colour palette completely unisex. Our favourite is the cloud print, and the bug range is very cool. I love they have basic, simple underwear in all the prints too, a gap in the market is finally being catered for well.
