turtlesselfridgesWe went to see the TOMS and Oceana Sea Turtle collection at Selfridges this week.  The kids range is exclusive to Selfridges and for every pair of TOMS x Oceana Sea Turtle shoes sold, TOMS will donate £5 to Oceana to help save the sea turtles.

The kids loved the fun games and marine life mask making and the turtle shoes are really cute.

wilbur_turtle turtlesselfridgesSea turtles play an important part in ocean ecosystems by maintaining healthy seagrass beds and coral reefs, helping to balance marine food webs and facilitating nutrient cycling from water to land.

The weather is starting to brighten up so get involved and help protect these turtles and get your littles a pair of these TOMS.

Black Score kids at Selfridges

Cool brand Black Score have done a range of kids T’s exclusively for Selfridges.  The range consists of baby-gros, t-shirts and sweats 0-12yrs.  The designs are a child’s humorous view on shopping trip with adults.  If you like Black Score, you’ll be wanting to go and get one of these for your lil’ one to be seen in.

mama jewels and keepsakes

Posted on by

I don’t look at jewelry or buy it very often, but as I’ve been browsing for birthdays, baby arrivals and Christmas ideas a few things have caught my eye.  It’s nice to have a few jewels and keepsakes that remind you of times and those that gave them to you.

1, Tatty Devine/Rob Ryan earrings, 2. rose gold hoops, 3. Jade Jagger skull earrings, 4. Jade Jagger skulls necklace, 5. Annina Vogel charm, 6. rose gold love bracelet, 7. rose gold watch

We have a few things coming up in the next couple of weeks, but the first one is Marylebone Christmas Market.  We will have a stall with Little Hanbury, on Wednesday 20th November (if I’m not giving birth to bean 3 that is), so come and see us if you’re in the West End.

Happy Friday and have a good weekend x

A little Ruff & Huddle

RUFF AND HUDDLE A/W 13 from Two of Swords on Vimeo.

We love new British boy brand Ruff & Huddle, cool wearable streetwear for kids.  AW13 is their first collection which includes a collaboration with designer Zakee Shariff, consisting of star print sweat top and bottoms and a very cool embroidered jacket, which I love.  We were excited to also see some of what they have in store for us for SS14 at Bubble London last weekend.  The collection has grown, great check board top and shorts, reversible bomber jackets with a bone print and of course some cool tee’s.  The ‘Rude Boy’ tee caught my eye.

Below are our 3 quickie’s with Lucy, founder of this refreshing new brand:

Where do you live and with who?
Leytonstone with my boys, Rufus, 4 and Hudson, 2.

Why did you start Ruff & Huddle, and how would you like it to grow?
I started RH as a reaction to bringing two boys into the world and not finding anything cool to dress them in. It started off as an idea to make a couple of tees and organically grew into a line of sweats, crews, tees and jackets – all based on classic street wear pieces and shrunk down for the little ones.

I’d like to see the brand become a staple go to for parents with boys and girls. Continue to grow the product lines, perhaps increase our accessory selection – collabs with brands and artists… who knows… we’re open to suggestions!

What is your favourite thing to do with your children?
We love the park! They’ve got a ton of energy they need to run off. The youngest has started riding a scooter and my eldest a bike – we now fly round the park!

Ruff & Huddle  – also going to be in Selfridge’s for AW13.

Happy weekend x

We first saw Monster’s Baby in their pop-up shop at Boxpark, Shorditch.  They have great, fun, bright graphic t-shirts for little ones, for ages 0-8yrs.  There is a collaboration with artist Ronzo on the way, as well as extending their range.

The lil’ bean loves his ‘alpha boy’ T.

You can buy from the Monster’s Baby website and Selfridges!  We are looking forward to what’s to come from this brand.
