Doll Love – Rock & Pebble

Posted on by

Love these wooden peg dolls from Rock & Pebble.  There are 3 styles to choose from: alphabet, colour and modern.  Each set contains 5 solid maple dolls, with 36 stick on paper clothes.  Which are easy to stick on and re-useable = hours of fun.  They’re not extortionate either at £16 a set.

If you’re London based or bound this Sunday and have kids with you, you need to head to Covent Garden and visit the collaboration pop up shop between Ruff and Huddle, The Bright Company and Tootsa Macginty.  Apart from it being the last day, the brilliant Author of children’s books Sarah Dyer is going to be there, for storytelling and a workshop.  A great place to cool off for a couple of hours.

You can also get an Indian or Cowboy head hook.

snuggle up in blankets

BLANKETS-ON-COTNow Autumn is finally setting in, I’ve been looking at blankets.  I love them anyway, but I’m also looking for a special one for lil’ bean 3.  It’s one of the things I like to get for each them, to have as their own.

magnetic Tegu

While we were away on our hols, we saw these lovely magnetic building blocks by Tegu.  Founded in 2006 by brothers Chris and Will in Honduras (Central America).  They come in many size packs, car packs, building packs, and accessories like wheels.  Not cheap, but really well made and thought out in design.

Shusha toys from Russia with love

Posted on by

Shusha toys was founded when a  young couple with background in design, wanted to create some special wooden toys whilst waiting for their lil’ one to arrive.  All the toys are made in Russia, and are the some of the nicest modern wooden toys we’ve seen in a while.  The wooden faces from Shusha are great, somethings are made for keeping.
